Chest physio

We provide basic chest physiotherapy for those requiring some assistance to clear mucus/sputum in the case of;

• post-operative lung congestion
• Pneumonia
• chronic lung disease e.g. bronchiectasis, bronchitis

Quite often only a few treatments are required to assist in sputum clearance.  As well as ‘perc’s and vibes’ education about breathing techniques and patterns are also included in the treatments, including the Active Cycle of Breathing technique.
