Payment

If you have private health insurance that includes physiotherapy you can receive an instant rebate from your health fund through the onsite HICAPS terminal. For this to occur you will need to present your health fund card at each treatment session.

Payment methods accepted include:

• credit card – Visa Mastercard Amex
• EFTPOS
• cash

Please note no medical referral is required unless the treatment is covered by:

• a Workers Compensation claim
• a Third party insurance claim
• Department of Veterans affair Gold card
• Medicare – Chronic Disease Management

Workers Compensation Claim/Third party insurance claim

If your treatment is to be covered by a Workers Compensation or third party insurance claim please call/email Kristen before booking an appointment.  Due to the lower fees paid by insurers and the additional paperwork and administration required Kristen isn’t always able to take on new cases.

Medicare Chronic Disease Management

If you meet the eligibility criteria you may be entitled to up to 5 physiotherapy treatments (per calendar year) subsidized by Medicare.  Your GP will be able to determine your eligibility and will need to provide you with the appropriate referral, which you will need to bring to your appointment. There will still be an out-of-pocket cost, with the Medicare rebate able to be refunded immediately through HICAPS into your bank account.  You will need to bring your Medicare card and a card linked to a cheque or savings account (Medicare will not rebate onto a credit card).
